For sale is a Credor GCBG987 Retrograde GMT watch (4S77-0A40) in stainless steel with the Credor (Seiko) 4S77 movement. This true GMT was part of the Credor Phoenix line of watches, and brings an elegant touch to a sporty design. The world time inner bezel gives you the ability to check the time in other timezones by simply rotating the inner bezel crown to line up with a known timezone. The main hour hand is independently adjustable from the 24 hour sub-dial, and jumps one hour at a time when setting. It was a limited edition of 1000 pieces total.
The case is finished immaculately and blends brushed with polished surfaces throughout. The outer bezel shows 21 major timezones with a slight nick near PAR that is unnoticeable at more than a few inches away. The rest of the case is in near perfect condition with no noticeable scratches or dings (the detailed pictures below will show what I'm talking about). The bracelet and clasp are in great condition as well, with some small scuffs on a couple of links but nothing noticeable.
The 4S77 movement has retrograde day, date, and 24 hour GMT subdials, all functioning perfectly and ticking at 28,800 vph. The sapphire caseback shows off the nicely finished, gold-plated movement. So far, the accuracy has been phenomenal, showing +0.4 seconds in 31 days of mostly continuous wear, with very little positional variation and isochronism.
