I have recently been looking into watches from this brand... seems like incredible value? Is it because it's German? As we say in finance sounds like an "arbitrage opportunity". To be clear because it seems so high quality for the price, to wear, not as an investment.

This bad boy is like $6000 USD!

What is the word on the street? Am I missing something? Why is everyone not talking about this brand? I know I see a lot of "SeaQ Sub Alternative" stuff.

Look forward to the WUS braintrust chiming in on this one!

Just wondering what the kind people on these forums thought about that and why you don't see the brand more often?
By in large a watch enthusiast will know about the brand, will know about the companies that produce in the town of Glashutte and will be aware of the engineering that comes from the area. People who 'collect' watches but don't participate in researching, understanding and evaluating time pieces - probably don't have a clue.

For the record...I like GO and have for some time. I find the model you posted a bit pedestrian in their offerings, but it's certainly a well crafted watch. Not sure where you are in Canada, but if you are in GTA wander over to L'Oro and take a look and have a chat with the SA.

GO is a very well respected brand that produces beautifully finished watches. I believe the one you posted is a Senator Sixties. I own the Sixties Chronograph in blue. The dial is absolutely stunning and the movement is incredible. You will not find better finishing at the price point. The panomaticlunar is also quite popular here, though it has a higher price tag. GO is a great brand with a pretty decent history and is producing beautiful watches. Thankfully, GO has not been swept up in the current hype storm, so the watches are still relatively accessible.

Love GO. Agree that it is amazing bang for buck. Not sure what other brand offers as much for anywhere near the price. I love my PML so much I’m planning to get a sixties chrono next.

Also check out this pilot chrono…. It was just sold on this site and is discontinued but I really like it. I’m super bummed I didn’t get it. Love how they fit the subdials in without cutting out any of the number indices. Looks so much better that the usual chopped up numbers. If I ever see another I will try to get it too….

To the contrary, any WIS worth his/her weight knows about this brand. They are extremely well respected.

Value is subjective and the image associated with purchasing products is a factor in the purchase since the shift in the psychology of marketing in the early 1900s. It's an arbitrage opportunity if the market at large value the social subjective value differently but that gradient doesn't exist.

I've really been enjoying my GO Senator Pointer Hand Date a lot.

Great attention to detail, the light catches the applied indices so nicely and the dial has this satiny finish that is hard to capture in photos but in person it is really nice! I think that the pointer hand date is a refreshing change from the typical date window on most watches and is more aesthetically pleasing to me, imho. I love how the two sub dials are sunken into the main dial adding a nice sense of depth.

GO has a huge collection with many different styles to meet the individual needs of many discerning watch enthusiasts. I don't think you can go wrong with GO.

Best wishes,
Don

I love getting shouted out for my GO.
I was going to get the chrono in the silver dial like you posted and then came across this in summer 2018. It’s now my longest owned watch, I know I know it’s only 3.5 years. Such incredible craftsmanship

As others have said, they make really nice watches with very good finishing and in house movements, especially for the price. I think they do the big date function better than anyone, including ALS. Some of their designs are slighty off to me, while I love others. My GO Navigator in rose gold:
