Not familiar with Raven and NTH. With quick browsing, they do homage type of watches.

Halios on the other hand I am very much interested. With my research, I have yet find negative comment about them. Styles are more original which are also very pleasant to my eyes. Halios seems to taking quality in high standard. The 2nd release suppose to be out mid Nov. have been push back till perhaps 2018. People said the owner is not satisfy with dial quality so push back the release date. If what folks said are true, I do like the brand impression even more.

I can only comment on their watch design base on web images I see. They are fantastic looking. That is what I'll recommend.

You are in a fortunate position of having three solid brands to choose from. It is interesting to me that Raven isn’t getting any love in your poll. The Raven brand was started by Steve Laughlin, who was the US voice and dealer for Benarus watches for several years, and they were revered on this forum.I would be willing to bet that the Raven watches are coming out of the same factory as the Benarus watches and are of equal quality. I have owned a couple of Ravens and was very happy with them.

I see Steve is offering his newest model, The Endeavor, with an ETA 2824 movement. I am trying to decide if I want to preorder or not?

Halios has the strongest resale value retention.
NTH has equally good stuff at, arguably, better buy-in price.
No idea on Raven - aside from seeing a couple of fawning articles by that one TheGrayNatoPodcast guy who writes for worn&wound & aBlogToWatch, i've not heard of many people buying/wearing/selling/liking raven watches. If they have their audience, it's not intersecting much with WUS.

Dunno if either Docvail (nth) or Jason (Halios) are willing to sell their brands/IP, however - might best to ask them directly.

Which model of each brand makes a big difference OP. All those brands have models that appeal to me and all have models that don't. Would be much better if you put a pictures for the models you are interested in.

Hey Jamie, I make NTH watches, and I appreciate your interest in them.

I know Jason Lim from Halios, and Steve Laughlin from Raven. They're both awesome guys, who make awesome watches, truly top quality. I think you'd be pleased with any of these.

Having said that, the Raven is 45mm, a bit larger than the Halios or the NTH. If you're looking for something larger, there's your winner. If you want something smaller, that would seem to rule the Raven out.

If you get the Halios, you'd be supporting a fellow Canuck. Jason usually makes watches in pretty small batches, so if you don't get one as soon as they go on sale, you'll be looking for the rare one that comes up for sale on the used market.

We've already produced one batch of the Nacken Modern Blue, and this next batch will be the last of them, for whatever that's worth.

The Nacken and Seaforth are similarly sized, and I'd think they'd wear about the same, but the Seaforth is a little more "dressy diver", whereas the Nacken is a little more toolish.
