Harmful to hand wind Speedmaster Reduced?

Hi all,

I've been enjoying my 3150.50 Speedmaster Automatic/Reduced as a daily wear watch for the last several weeks. The only issue is the same as it is for any of my automatics... with my daily use cycle the power reserve tends to wind down over 5-7 days or so, depending on exactly what I'm doing, since I'm always working at my desk and take it off when I get home. For the record this has nothing to do with the watch needing a service, it's always happened with my automatics regardless of age. So, does anyone know if this movement "likes" to be hand wound, or if it will cause undue wear? Given that it will wind in the 0/in position I'd assume it isn't as hard on the movement as it is for other movements, ETA 2824 comes to mind, but I wanted to check with people more knowledgeable than myself.

Thanks for any insight!

Obligatory pic on my 7" wrist since it makes any thread more enjoyable:

Thanks for the replies! I’ve considered a watch winder in the past but it’s such a relatively small concern that a winder seems like overkill. Good to know that it isn’t particularly tough on this watch to keep it wound manually every once in a while, though.

It scares me to manual wind anything, I just dont like to do it. I dont even like to set time and dates because I am afraid to mess something up. One time I was changing the date on a Breitling Avenger with the caliber 13 movement and I forgot to only do so when the watch is not in between 9 and 3 o clock. Stripped the date pusher. 250 bucks at an independent guy. Sucked. I mean if that isn't just the worst, I dont know what is!
