It should be held by a double sided tape.

A while ago (when Mudmaster parts were not restricted yet at Pac Parts), I stocked up on a bunch of spare parts and this double sided tape that goes under the inner city ring was among the parts that I bought.

You will also find a Mudmaster disassembly video on YouTube on the Channel of GShockHiFashion.

You seem to be lucky!

I have entered that part number myself in Google and it appears that another watch, the MTG G1000 is using the same adhesive strip as well and the parts for that watch appear to be not restricted yet. So that part is still available at PacParts. Check for the second part from the bottom of this list:

Edit: I see the link may not work for some reason.

So just input the strips part number in Google (#91087125763 from my previous linked list of Mudmaster parts) and it should show up under an PacParts list for a CASIO MTGG1000D-1A.

OR search PacParts for parts an MTGG1000D-1A and these adhesive strips part will be among the parts with the part number as I have referenced.

thank you very much, i just checked it!

and yes it would make sense since it also has an inner city ring, so would need the adhesive for that!!!

one more question though please... what do you think is the best and safest way to remove the inner city ring? how can i loosen the glue on the tape so as to not damage anything?

thank you

I have not done this on this watch yet, but I have done similar things on other items. So what I would do is this:

You could set the watch in temperature measure mode. Then you could use a hair dryer to gently heat up the bezel ring. By gently, I mean point the hairdryer to the bezel ring and away, back and froth. In he meantime observing the displayed temperature, so that it won't go too much over 50 Celsius DISPLAYED. The watch is designed to operate to 60 Celsius according to the manual, so it should be able to handle at least 60 Celsius. Of course as the watch heats up, there may be a delay in the displayed temperature (that is why I have mentioned to heat it up gently and slowly and not go much over 50 Celsius displayed. Because as 50 Celsius is displayed, the watch surface might be already much warmer). Then you could use a guitar pick or your fingernails to pry it up. This way IF you are LUCKY, the bezel ring may separate easier and the tape may not get damaged and you may be able to reuse it.
