I see no pictures

 

I see no pictures either. If the watch has a display back, try to capture a picture of the movement. Somebody here should be able to identify the authenticity of the watch based on the movement. I say this because genuine eta movements are rarely found in replicas.

I'm not saying it's a knock off, but this one has puzzled me for a while. Hope someone can clear it up.

 

Question: when you buy a new hamilton, do they always have a clear sticker on the backcase indicating the date and says swiss made ex: 11/08 swiss made? just like whats in the picture? or is it a practice of a particular AD perhaps?

 

I owned that model about 5 or 6 years ago. It's a quartz watch and I doubt someone would go to the trouble of replicating what was an under $200 watch. What makes you question the authenticity? The sticker? I don't recall if mine had that or not.

one thing for example is he case back, on the pic of the original sent by tinknocker, the case back has no rib but on the one i bought if you look closely, there is a rib just outside the perimeter of the circle of words (between the words and the lugs used to untwist the case) where dirt can accumulate.

Question: are there original case backs that have this rib? or am i just being overly observant?

Im very new here, but to me, it looks like the real deal. From the description, it looks to have been bought and sold a couple times.

 

Well, it does have the rubber strap that says Khaki Field, so that's a good sign, I would hope.

I too just received this from Ash.... Looks really nice and comes with Genuine Hamilton Leather Strap.
Has anyone confirmed this might be new old stock?

 

Someone in a reddit thread said they contacted Hamilton, and was told they did a limited run in 2024.
