Hi guys. My first time in posting in the forum. I apologize in advance if I'm in the wrong section. First of all reading the articles here started me to think of diving into the watch world. If it's not too much too ask I would like to seek your help on a used Hamilton watch that I bought from the bay from a seller with 100% positive feedback. I'm just starting on the world of watches and I'm hoping that what I bought is an authentic one. Coz it's supposed to be my first real swiss watch and I'm hoping that it's really the real thing. Spent my first watch savings on it. The watch is on its way to me from the seller in Japan. If it's a replica of fake I will return it asap and demand a refund. Thanks in advance for your help. Here are the pics provided by the seller.

I owned that model about 5 or 6 years ago. It's a quartz watch and I doubt someone would go to the trouble of replicating what was an under $200 watch. What makes you question the authenticity? The sticker? I don't recall if mine had that or not.

one thing for example is he case back, on the pic of the original sent by tinknocker, the case back has no rib but on the one i bought if you look closely, there is a rib just outside the perimeter of the circle of words (between the words and the lugs used to untwist the case) where dirt can accumulate.

Question: are there original case backs that have this rib? or am i just being overly observant?
