How do you resize Aerospace Bracelet?

Something must have happened to my wrist or I must have been slightly chunkier then. I have been wearing my aerospace (circa 1997) on leather straps for years, and when I switched back to the aerospace bracelet (not the professional type), it fits loose and am now rocking around my wrist. I couldn't figure out how to resize this. Any help? The Aerospace doesnt get a lot of wrist time after I discover the joy of automatic watches since my venture into watchdomship (?) about 2 years ago

Very easily...

Hello Vector,

the Aerospace bracelet is very easy to adjust.

When you look sideways onto the bracelet you will note little "arches" and solid pins holding the Aerospace bracelet together.

If you want to remove one link, all you need to do is find a suitable instrument and push one solid pin out, keep the adjacent pin, and push out the pin next to the latter.

That way you will remove one complete link.

In the absence of proper tools, a ballpoint pen refill and small pliers will even do.

Another reason why an Aerospace bracelet might feel loose could be loss of tension in the spring that is housed in the clasp. While that would need to be fixed, or replaced, by a service centre, you can easily check and eliminate that as cause yourself.

I hope you find the little procedure as easy as I did.
