I've had a Seiko Black Monster for a little over 2 years and, in that time, I've never been able to wear it on the bracelet because I somehow lost several of the pin collars when resizing it. So I've worn it on various leather straps and NATO's over the couple of years but I've always wanted wear it on the original bracelet. Searching online yesterday I learned something that will finally let me use the bracelet though. Seiko will send you up to 3 links (with the pins and collars, screws, etc) for free!

I emailed their customer service and received this response:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting the Seiko Corporation of America (SCA) Service Center.

To order replacement parts please call 1-800-722-4452 x "0" and our customer service representatives will further assist you.

Supply the following information when you call the SCA Service Center:

All it took was a 3 minute phone call and they're sending the links out tomorrow. Great service if you need replacement links.

Citizen Australia on the other hand ignored 2 of my requests for info on how to purchase extra links for a brand new watch I purchased via an AD. The AD was dragging-their-feet about getting the links.

To be fair to Citizen, I also emailed Citizen Ireland (they showed the watch on their web site) and received a very polite reply, but they could not help with the request.

The local AD eventually came through, months after the purchase!!

I think something changed as they are not doing "free" anymore.

I recently called about monster collars as well (just need 1 spare) and they would not sell the collar separately and I would have had to pay for each link ordered at @20 each.
I did read somewhere else here on the forum that you can order the collars from another source but they come in bulk. Seems like a member had a bunch extra they were willing to share etc.

Luckily my bracelet is sized correctly but, I did manage to loose one collar in the process so my OCD makes me want to order a replacement / spares.

I called Seiko two weeks ago needing an extra link for my new Turtle. They changed their policy at the beginning of 2017 to no longer send bracelet links and other bracelet parts for free. So that sucks now. I wound up finding someone on the Seiko forum who sold me one for $10, but as someone who buys a lot of used watches and has giant wrists, I really enjoyed being able to get the extra links from without shelling out extra cash. You may still be able to get links from an AD for free though.
