Been selling off some watches and realized my most useful well liked watch was my Sinn 104. Would like to get another Day/Date watch that's not a Rolex and not over 2K or in the ballpark. Can go back to Sinn 104 but would like to try something else. Any ideas would be greatly.

And I have but would like to keep a day date to use as an everyday watch. Thanks for keeping on top of my we watch behavior.

You are very welcome. We now must address your spelling, grammar, and framing... ;) (JK)

Anyway, how about similar but not the same in Damasko. They have many day date models with both rotating and solid bezel. They range 1000 - 1800 New

I've been looking for an automatic day-date watch for a couple of years in this price range. I find a day indicator very useful on a watch. I recently got an Epos Passion 3410 since I wanted something more dressy with an annular rather than radial day display. In case it helps, below is a list of other options I seriously considered in my search:

Muhle Glashutte 29er Tag/Datum
Orient Defender 2 (cheaper and more field watch / casual style)
Seiko SARD011 (dressy with urushi lacquer dial and retrograde displays)
Mido Ocean Star (dive watch)
Sinn 104 (probably would have got one expect I've got another Sinn with a similar case design)

I hope you have fun with your search since there are heaps great options.

Have been looking at the Tudor but really didn't like the look. Looking at the black though changes the look entirely. Beautiful!!
You can find a first gen Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra for less than 2k.

Probably too cheap for you but the Tissot Visodate is a remote option. Black or white dial.
Love Swatch Group brands and whatever anyone says about Tissot etc they can't be beat for price. I've seen Tissot watches

Yes, Tissot and Certina. You can't beat what you get with Swatch Group brands. I've seen 3 hand Tissot watches for $199 + with ETA movements. Thanks

I have a Fortis Spacematic that has the day and date that I like. It would fall within your budget and is very legible, which is why I tend to wear it on the plane when I used to have to fly for work. Since Covid, it doesn't really see any wrist time though.
