I am going to go with a prop watch.

 

My eyes can’t focus on that enough to have any educated guesses.

 

Baa, looks boring...possibly a random flea market prop. Nothing special. Of Course someone here will prove me wrong! LOL

 

Hey guys! What watch is Ethan Hawke's character wearing in the 2017 movie First Reformed?

A very small one. If Ethan Hawke has average sized wrists with about 60mm width, that watch has a L2L length of ~35mm and probably a case diameter of under 30mm. No idea what that is, or if I'm completely wrong and Hawke has wrists like Popeye..

 

Looks like a Timex Easy Reader, but lettering is wrong.

 

I agree with others that it's a prop watch, probably doesn't even have a functional movement inside, look at the hour and minute hand, they're set to the symmetrical 10:07, unlikely thats coincidental and that time lined up perfectly for that scene.

 

I never understood the idea of a "prop watch". Just wear a real watch - like Sean Connery did out of his personal collection in You Only Live Twice (a Gruen Precision 510, I believe).
