Pretty cool looking, but the 10 year battery text kind of annoys me. Do I need to be reminded of something I need to worry about once a decade every time I look at my watch?

 

Yes, the same way we have to be reminded when a watch is solar powered. I guess they think we are going to forget such simple things.

Maybe it can be modded like a Casio Royale-- take to the dial with a little Goo-Gone and a Q-tip.

Very cool watch. Am I the only one, that with such an industrial aesthetic, the seconds hand should be 1.5mm longer so that it grazes the indices?

Yes, like this…so satisfying. Seconds hand just a bit longer than the minutes hand and barely “touching” the minor indices with this sort of style.

I do see that Casio tend to have seconds and minutes hand the same length in most of their line up.

 

These look good but the lack of lume on the numbers is an odd choice.

 

Looks like there’s a good amount of lume on the hands, at least. Pretty nice watch all things considered.
