Is anyone NOT loving their mm200?

I'm really debating on whether I want an mm200 or not. My favorite line is the turtle, but the turtle is right at the threshold of being too big. I have a 7" wrist. Is the mm200 going to be too large? Is it worth buying a 6r15, today?

The MM200 is pretty much my favorite model in Seiko’s lineup. The watch wears a lot smaller than the raw numbers suggest. The lugs are definitely longer than what you find on the cushion case of a Turtle, but they turn down decently and the end result is a very comfortable watch that has the visual impact of a 40MM watch. I say go for it.

I have tried 2 different MM200 editions. Sold the first one and the second is the Zimbe LE (Green/Gilt) which I have on the "sales corner". I much prefer the MM300. My wrist is also 7" and it wears very well. Shown below on a Strapcode razor bracelet, very [emoji41] IMO.

I have about a 6.8 inch wrist for reference. I'm still happy with how it fits. It's a big watch though, no beating around the bush there. And I won't lie, I wish Seiko had reduced its diameter and lug-to-lug by 1mm-2mm. But as others have said, the case has been designed smartly/ergonomically; the watch doesn't appear as big as its stated 43.8mm diameter, and there's enough curvature to the case for the 50mm lug-to-lug to wrap around your wrist decently. With that in mind, I would think that the watch would fit pretty decently on your 7 inch wrist.
As for the movement, the 6R15 in mine currently runs around -10 s/d, which is a bit disappointing considering the price-point. Others have reported better performance from their 6R15s, so unfortunately it's still luck of the draw there.

The two core references are SPB077 for the black bezel and bracelet (SBDC061 for the JDM model number), and SPB079 for the blue bezel and silicone strap (SBDC063 for the JDM model number). There are a few other colourways that I can't remember the model numbers of off the top of my head, and I'm sure others can chime in on that. But most (if not all) of the other colourways are special or limited editions with a price premium over the base SPB077 and SPB079.

Zimbe mm200 (SPB109J1) on my 6.75" wrist in case it helps. I'm also 6'1, 215 lbs which helps me pull off a slightly larger watch. I personally think body size definitely comes into play relative to how a watch looks on an individual, but it's rarely discussed.

One of my favorite mm200ish watches is PADI Prospex SBDC055. I don't own it anymore but I really miss that dial.
