YES, there is. Despite many saying it is not, and even heard some people trashing some aftermarket bezels because of the ,,feel,, I can tell you from my own experience that you can make a huge difference to how a bezel turns and sounds. In my opinion some of my ,,bezel work,, is better than some entry swiss, even compared to a Sinn 104 I prefer the bezel action of my modded Mako.
The first thing is to use a good quality lubricant, silicone grease or oil (I don't know how the oil for mechanical assemby is called in English) Grease vs Oils gives different feel, some may like one or the other. Also, how much and where you apply them also makes a big difference, you can apply it on the gasket only, or the edges, or the clickspring or the ratcheting teeths inside, or everywhere

)
The second thing is playing with the clickspring ,,ears,, different angles etc makes a difference.
The third and the most important, try different gasket sizes. I bought many sizes from cousins, and found the gasket size makes the biggest difference of all.
Using the above techniques and materials, I managed to make a Orient Mako with Yobokies bezel work and feel just as good as my higher end watches. It is so smooth but at the same time precise and ,,clicky,, Keep in mind this combination of watch+bezel is know to feel horrible, cheap, unsecure, mushy. Will try to make a video of it.
