I am sorry that this is a repeated thread/poll. I wanted to delete or edit my initial post/poll but couldn't. I was advised that the title of the thread is not consistent with poll wordings and also that the picture is not very clear. So I wanted to restart the poll with some more details. Thanks a lot to those who replied to my thread and voted.

So here we go again.

I want to get the AP ROC with panda dial, the 26331st model.

My wrist is considered small at 6.5 inch so I thought the 26331 would be too big, but surprisingly it was not too bad when I tried it but still wish it would be 39mm or 40mm instead.

I read various articles saying that 41mm is too big for a 6.5 inch wrist. Here is the picture - can anyone let me know if the 26331 is too big on my wrist? In the first picture, my friend was holding the bracelet at the bottom so that the watch sorta looked like it was sized. I understand that the watch is not placed at the centre of the centre (it is at the wrist bone) and not a very clear picture.

Therefore, I managed to find others with a similiar wrist size of mine with much clearer pictures. Please see 2nd and 3rd picture. So the 2nd/3rd picture probably reflect what the watch will look like on my wrist once it is sized in reality.

If the 41mm is too big, I would probably go for 26315st model, which is 38mm. But some say the watch is small like a lady watch. So it is a tough decision to make! Wish my wrist is a couple mm larger!

Yes, it's too large. The RO wears massively for its measurements.
I have a 6.5" wrist and while I can wear 42mm and even up to 44mm in certain watches, anything larger than 39mm in AP (e.g., 15202) would look ridiculously oversized.
The 26315 would probably look perfect. It's already a complicated watch face and I find that one has to be extra careful about fit and proportion. A huge chronograph just looks cartoonish.

I responded in the other thread, and voted the same in this one. I voted for no, because I think if you like it, it's not so big that I would consider it a deal breaker.

Slightly too big, and if this is like a once in a lifetime kind of purchase (it would be for me), maybe I'd look for a watch that fit a bit better. But there isn't much out there that can stand with a panda dial ROC, if this is the watch you have your heart set on, then I think it looks pretty good.

Many thanks. There is another option out there - 26315, which is 38mm in diameter. Some say it is too small like a lady watch. But on paper, 38mm fit a small wrist like mine. It is such as tough choice!

As usual, if you have to ask, you already know the answer--too big, way too big.

One thing you will find in threads such as these--there will ALWAYS be some responses that ALWAYS say anything/everything is OK--the "go for it!" camp--and there will ALWAYS be some responses that say the opposite--the "what were you thinking?" camp--in the end, both not very useful either way.

Ultimately, you have to decide for yourself, since, when you wear it, just about nobody else is going to care.

Yes you should go for the 38mm.

I'd be extremely surprised if you tried it on and didn't feel like it belonged on your wrist. It will fit so much better.

Pay no mind to those who say 38mm is women sized (I do think there aren't many people left who actually believe this). It just isn't, and their opinion it irrelevant. Just like ours when we say this one is too big. But if you do try the 38mm, you'll see for yourself that size will fit you better and be much more comfortable.

I am sure that you will be happy with the 26315 especially once you get a chance to try it on.

Some will say "whatever you want is the right." And this is true in the sense that the final choice and satisfaction are yours to decide. But you already have misgivings. It is a feeling in your stomach that tells you something your eyes alone may not.

Some will say "it's too big." And it is also true because the judgment is made on an aesthetic basis as an assessment of proportion, fit, expression. Although these are considerations strongly influenced by taste, they are not defined solely by individual preference.

True, it is your choice and your wrist. But you will also wear it in front of people and although you may not care what they think of the watch, you will most certainly care how your watch makes you feel in front of people. It should elevate you. Like a custom tailored suit or a well-styled haircut. It should make one feel better about that which is the best within himself.

Typically, the angle you're shooting at will make most watches look big. Get a mirror shot, or have someone else take a picture of you from a distance.

That being said, I think this one might just be too big.

You are right. I actually went to a forum with mostly asians there and noted that the people who wear 26331 has similar wrist size as mine (you are see the 2nd/3rd picture that I uploaded, their wrist size is similar to mine), some wrists are slightly smaller or larger but roughly in the 6.3-6.7 inch range. I thought the watch look big on their wrist as well but I was in doubt. Really glad that majority people here voted "too big" it make thing a lot easier for me to go for 38mm model - 26315.
