Hi folks- there is now a service price calculator on the JLC home page. Is this new?

Service Price Calculator | Jaeger-LeCoultre

Edit: Looks like a MUT Moon in stainless steel will run $830 for standard service. Not unreasonable for the value of the watch, I'd say.

They also offer waterproofing as a standalone option for $270.

Nice heads up. Didn't know that existed so I assume its a new service. I like how the owner can select services ala carte and not be forced in to an overpriced full service for minor work

Regular service for my TS Geophysic is $630+tax and Sector dial MC chronograph $830. I think this pricing is very reasonable for a haut horologie brand. And the website says these are maximum prices so an AD is able to offer lower rates.

I was relieved to see that items like replacement pushers and crowns, at least in stainless steel, were very reasonable. $90 for a crown, if memory serves.

This takes away one of my major concerns. Now I just have to worry about the authorized service center mangling a watch, but honestly, that's an issue with every manufacturer's warranty service centers.

I plan to call Nesbit's in Washington State to see if they still have a JLC spare parts account. I read somewhere that they don't, but their website claims otherwise. I suspect the website may be out of date.
