Khaki Field Bronze on my 6.75 wrist. Hamilton doesn't state whether it is made from tin bronze or aluminum, but the watch has a pleasing reddish tint, so I'm guessing it is tin bronze. My first bronze ( Hamilton's' first too) and am enjoying it. There seems to be something special about bronze that is hard to put in words. Maybe something like: bronze is a poor man's gold. But that's not quite it... I don't know what it is... For me it's worth the extra money from a regular Khaki Filed

Very nice, I would suspect the bronze on your watch is CuSn8, which is a copper (bronze) alloy composed of 8% tin.
Enjoy your new Hamilton and its patina process. Below is a review that mentions Hamilton's bronze case as being CuSn8.

I originally forced the patina on the bronze Hamilton using the vinegar fume method but didn’t like the way it came out against the blasted bronze finish. So I ended up removing the patina using a cape cod cloth which in turn also ended up removing the blasted finish of the bronze case. Under it is a polished bronze finish which now natural patina kicks in rather quickly. Below on the bund strap and leather Horween you can see the polished case

I went for this, keeping my steel khaki mechanical. The engraved bezel looks fantastic, really showcases the bronze, and I feel like bronze and green are entirely in keeping with the maritime theme. Incredible specs for the price, 600m, chronometer, top shelf build too.

Question as someone who is seriously mulling over buying this watch:

  • How is the stock strap? I like its appearance but doubt its overall comfort and suppleness.
  • How accurate is the H-50?
  • Any issues with magnetism? I would like to use this as a daily driver office watch/going out watch/beater
  • This or the Khaki Field Titanium Auto in 38 mm that was just released? I like that one's color too, the Ti, and the nivachron balance

I was concerned about the strap but it's very supple and comfortable. Very soft.
I've found the movement to be excellent, keeping time just as well as my Omega 8800.
Can't comment on magnetism but haven't had any issues wearing it doing everything.

Had it on a strap tailor nato today. Suits a lot of straps. Patina is slow, but worth the wait I think.
