Hey guys picked this up today for $15... From the 60s most likely, first made in Germany vintage watch, great condition aside from the fact it run poorly and needs a service. came on this Bucherer strap with I love the color of but it's in rough shape. Could not get the back open ugh... If anyone could provide me with some info on this watch that'd be great! Thoughts at all on it?

Recently looked Kienzle up and seems like they have a long history dating back to 1822! Impressive

Antimagnetic, not automatic. If you want to know more, pop the case back open... and then there'll be a LOT of browsing the Ranfft archive, since there's - I jest you not- a ton of Kienzle movements listed. Don't be surprised if you find a one-jewel pin lever wonder inside, Kienzle was known for using them.

I have owned 16 Kienzle watches that I can recall, all been good except for one that would not run and I had to send back. Another I bought knowingly as non-working and sold it for around what I paid for it eventually. Range from 7 jewels to a couple of 25 jewel autos. Maybe some 0 jewels as well?
