I'm seriously considering the 37mm Spirit as my first mechanical watch ever. To those who own the Spirit, what kind of accuracy have you been getting? Of course, I understand & accept it won't be as accurate as quartz, just wondering to what extent. Thanks!

That’s way out of spec. It’s a cosc movement and should be -4/+6 at max. That should be fixed under warranty.

Mine is +0.5 spd

I've had 2 Spirits.

One ran like a top. Second one (AD-used) was running at +9, so well out of COSC. I contacted my AD and they had it sorted within 2 weeks.

My non-COSC L888 Longines have generally run very well and been in or around +3/6 spd. My COSC Longines have run within a range of -1 to +3 or so with excellent consistency, which is plenty good enough for me.

This is older thread, but as I am really satisfied with this movement, I want to report one more case of great accuracy. It is almost 0 spd. I do it with positional regulation but still it is really grat.

it even wins my Co-axial 8900 and 8500 which are runnin on edge of Metas and Cosc for 8500, while this l888.4 is just at prrfect spot

I have the Spirit Zulu and I realize it has a different movement, but I too am seeing incredible accuracy. This is my first chronometer certified watch so I expected it to be more precise than my Hamiltons, which it certianly is, but I didn't expect it to be THIS good. I also don't see much of a difference in positional variance, but it does (sometimes) seem to lose a second if you place it crown down and either gain it back or stay the same if you lay it flat. Having said that I've had this watch five months and I've only had to adjust it once. It's currently at 0 spd after 2.5 months.
