Just got my Luminox Aerorspace xcor back from Jay and it is a monster:
Mod includes:
-Cerakoted the whole thing in black
-Pip, numerals and large hashes painted white
-Pip relumed
-Resealed/pressure tested
I always wanted the features of the Breitling Aerospace without the price tag, plus I had a horrible experience with Breitling when I owned a B1 (picked this one up for $500 gently used). Operates almost exactly like the Breitling Aerospace - not saying this is equivalent, but you at least get all the same modes in a nice clean dial. To get this feature set, I previously wore a Citizen Skyhawk for years, and while that is great overall, that dial is extremely busy, and unless you're actually a pilot, you don't need a dedicated UTC or 24-hour dial, so it's not the most readable at a glance. Plus on the Skyhawk you have to pull out and spin the tiny crown (at least it's tiny on my 2012 edition), which is cumbersome while on-wrist, and impossible with gloves. So with the Luminox Aerospace, you get a very similar feature set operated with just the crown.
As far as the mod, I have nothing but good things to say about Jay and MCWW. This is only my second mod, so I'm sure many of my questions were tedious, and he not only walked me through the options but sent pics of every stage so I could get a sense of the final product before it was finalized. Will definitely be going to Jay again.
I'm pretty new to the forum; apologies if there's other standard info I should posting.
More pics enclosed. Cheers.
