I recently bought a beautiful Omega Seamaster which I don't know much about. I think it's from the late 70's, any info about this timepiece is greatly appreciated! Also, the band is a little tight, any advice on what I need to know about replacing the band or adding links would be fantastic.

Welcome to WUS> That's a very nice looking Omega Seamaster with Cal 1020 movement inside. These were called the TV-shape series. Likely manufactured in 1970s
Model is likely 166.0205 (or similar day-date version of it)

The short bracelet could be an issue. Addl links for it may be hard to come by. But this Semaster should have Omega clasp on bracelet, with some microadjustment holes. See if the clasp has bracelet connected on the last hole, and if so - perhaps you can push the pin and reconnect it on earlier adjustment hole. (this can only help by few mms, but not if whole new link length is needed)

Another possibility is to remove the bracelet and wear the watch on a leather strap instead.
