Comrades,

I have been looking for this watch for quite a while now but every time it came up somewhere the prices were ridiculous. Now I finally found one for a good price and it arrived this morning. It is a Slava dual time zone watch which keeps Moscow time on the left dial and the present time on the right dial.

I must say, it looks so much better than I expected from the sellers pictures. The condition is far from perfect but in my eyes it is pretty decent, it keeps the essence of the watch in my opinion and all the writings are perfectly readable. Anyway, it surely is one of my most interesting watches.

As you might know this Slava uses two 1601 ladies watch movements, and the timekeeping of this example is quite impressive. It lost less than a minute over 24 hours, although the left movement one lost a little bit more than the right one.

Let me know what you guys think!:-d

Thanks for the kind words comrades, I am really happy with this watch!

Only thing is that the movements are a little loose in the case. I have not come across this in quite a while. Does anyone know if there is an easy fix for this? And is safe to wear the watch now or should I send it to a watchmaker? I know I should really get some basic watchrepair skills now that I am collecting a bit more seriously :-d
