A local guy has offered to sell me a lightly used Omega Railmaster with the darker brushed dial (not 1957 trilogy edition). He's offering it to me at a very fair price but not so low as to I would immediately think something it's a scam or anything like that. He sent me some pictures of the watch and it looks great except I noticed the caseback seems to be a little misaligned in the pics. It's my understanding that because it has the Naiad lock designation that the caseback should always align perfectly.
He also sent me pictures of the box and the 3 cards (METAS cert, pictograms and signed/dated warranty card). At least based on the pics everything but the caseback looks good. And I've done multiple deals with this guy in the past and am pretty confident he wouldn't intentionally try to screw me over. As a matter of fact when I mentioned the Naiad lock he had no idea how it was supposed to work which I don't blame him because Omega doesn't explain it much in marketing.
Has anyone else encountered this with a Naiad caseback? The watch is under valid warranty (card signed/dated in Feb 2019 from an actual Omega AD). Is it a watch I should just pass on even if it is under warranty and Omega would presumably fix any issues?
