This watch has yet to see the inside of my house. We had mine and hers (31mm Perpetual Oyster) sent to the in-laws out of state. We swung by the in-laws house on the way down to the mouse's house to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. So here are some of the shots... more to come.

Man, you're killing me here. DisneyWorld is my absolute favorite place on this whole planet. Pity then, that the missus says we can't go back until our son turns five (he just turned two). Of course, given that our next child is due in June, I have a feeling that she's going to roll back the clock even further. o|

Anyway, enjoy your vacation and enjoy your QOS! :-!

Adam

Adam,

I understand. The mouse is very important to our family. Ann and I got engaged at Magic. We honeymooned @ the Wilderness Lodge. When we were newlywed... Ann worked for the Disney travel company in Tampa.

Being perpetually broke, we would just drive over to Orlando and hang out at the parks. (Cast members get free admission, discounts, etc.) The best way to do disney is with no planning. Just let your day take you wherever it leads. The only thing you do need to think about is dinner. Priority seatings are a must if you want to eat at a decent restarurant on property. Other than that... just chill... walk around... play with the kids.

And that is exactly what we are doing this trip. We returned to the our honeymoon resort, the gorgeous Wilderness Lodge, with our two kids in tow. Abby is 2.5 and is loving life. Jack is 6 mo and oblivious.

I think we are going to go back to magic tomorrow. Should be able to get a good shot of the PO and Cinderella Castle.

Any special requests?

I think that it's wonderful that DisneyWorld has as much meaning to you and your wife as it does. For me, the love affair began when I was 12 and my father walked out on my family (this became a recurring theme for him, but that's why I pay my therapist so I won't bore you with the details here). My mother, wanting to take our mind off things, took me and my twin sister to Orlando for our spring vacation, and you know something, it worked brilliantly. We had an absolute blast -- all three of us -- dad be damned. Not to worry though, because dad eventually came home (he always did), and soon he became part of the Disney thing too. When I was older, I got my girlfriend in on the action, though ultimately she declined to be married there. :-| The last time we went was when our son was 5 months old. We piggybacked on to her sister's family's vacation because we thought we'd need a hand with the baby, and well, because I love DisneyWorld (who do you think convinced our brother-in-law to take his girls there in the first place?). Of course my wife had an absolutely horrible time being stuck with a baby in 80+ degree weather and 100% humidity, while I was off with my nieces riding Space Mountain, and dashing through the World Showcase, hence the decree that we cannot go back until our son is old enough to appreciate the experience. And walk.

So, any requests... Howzabout a shot by the Haunted Mansion (my favorite attraction at the Magic Kingdom)? And maybe Space Mountain (my second favorite attraction). Oh, and why not get Cinderella's Castle while you're at it? ;-) Hell, just take as many pictures as you see fit, and post 'em!

Regards,
Adam

Milox, my wife and I are suckers for Disney, too. We're hoping to take our kids there next January. Thanks for sharing those "action shots". :-!

glad to see you, the Mrs. & your watch had a good time at Disney.

We're headed that way for my birthday in early March. Maybe we should create a "post your watch at the theme park" thread.

man, it's been in the 30's down here (Miami) & Orlando is always a few degrees cooler.

It was 32 yesterday morning when I went to work & we played poker last night at a friends house, in the back yard & I don't know what the exact temp. was, but it sure was COLD!!!!

... brings back memories of quality family time at DisneyWorld. They sure know how to exceed all customer service expectations. We had a craze when my 2 kids, wife and I went to visit there 7 times in 3 years. Went there for special events too like during Halloween and Christmas.

Your watch looks great in one of the best playgrounds in the world.

Best Regards
