Yeah, you guessed it. Hamilton. I’ve been wanting a good, classic field watch with a brown leather strap. I had this one bookmarked for a while. Fast-forward to a few days ago & Jomashop is doing a huge sale in response to the Amazon Prime Days. Almost $200 off + free shipping. Couldn’t resist.

Total guess here, but I think he is associating the Hamilton brand as being named after Alexander Hamilton (a “Founding Father” of the United States of America), which we know it wasn’t. Alexander Hamilton’s portrait is featured on the American ten dollar bill.

The Hamilton Watch Company was named after Andrew Hamilton, founder of Lancaster County Pennsylvania.

Your comment is still referencing Alexander Hamilton, who as already has been stated is not the Hamilton of Hamilton watches’ namesake.
