Hi all,

Hope this is the right place on this forum to ask: is this a real Nomos Tangente or a replica? I think it is a replica, but I'm not sure. What do you think? Thanks in advance!

Why do you think it’s a replica?

Look em up on Chrono 24/7 then decide.

You are missing the main and most important points.

Where did you buy it? Did you trust the seller? Does it come with provenance, ie box, papers, sales invoice.

Good fakes can fool a lot of people, and we are not experts who can tell by looking at a couple of photos.

If you doubt it’s authenticity take it to a watch repairer who will get a loupe on it.

You are making a lot of assumptions. I did'nt buy anything. This watch is on a public marketplace. The seller received it as a gift, has no papers, and is not sure about the authenticity (and is open about that). That's why I'm asking for the wisdom of the crowd here.

I had to make assumptions as you didn’t tell us that information up front.

In that case don’t buy the Swiss made German fake watch.

Fake of course. Too small crown, wrong lugs and both "Swiss Made" and "Made in Germany" - it couldn't be more obvious.

Best advice moving forward…assuming you are in the market for a Nomos?

Always buy the seller.
