Omega Seamaster 300M on a small 6.3 inch wrist

This my dream watch. I just tried it at an AD and liked all the colors, especially in green. Now the only possible "issue" is that my wrist is 6.3 inches. However at least it is flat on top. I also tried on an Aqua Terra in Atlantic Blue, and the dial is beautiful! I have to add that I am 6"2' tall and skinny guy, but I am still very much tempted to go for the SMP300.

The 300m will look a little big, but it's a dive watch, so that's OK. For the Aqua Terra, I think the 38mm model would look better.

ETA: I should include that my response that it is OK on your wrist is based on you saying "my dream watch". If you would be equally as happy with a 39.5 PO, than that would be a better choice. The blue 300M is my everyday watch. It fits me perfectly, but my wrist is 7.75".

SMP 300 is maybe slightly big for a 6.3” wrist but your flat wrist and the twisted lugs help a lot. Also color choice will have impact, black looks smaller than bright blue or white. Just a trick of the eyes but IMO it makes a real difference when you are choosing a watch that will wear on the larger side for your wrist size.🍻

Thank you for your replies. Yes, I have considered the 39mm Planet Ocean, it was actually second on my list. I like how the 300M looks like though and it was comfortable too. However, I must try a 39mm Planet Ocean, just forgot to do it last time. I only wish that the 39mm PO was available in the same, gorgeous black/orange which is available in the 43.5mm version only.

39.5 PO is a great watch, but it is very different than the Diver 300 (I have both). If you were at the AD and checked out an AT 41mm but not the PO, I can only assume the PO didn’t interest you and that you’re looking for a larger dial. If you can get the green dial Diver 300, do it. Given your height, I’m guessing it will look fine in a full mirror shot especially with a sized bracelet.

Edit: I was typing while OP mentioned the PO in a previous comment. Disregard my assumptions on the PO, but I’m sticking with my recommendation to get the 300m in green.

Not to be a downer, but yea, that's pretty large on your wrist. I would seriously consider and really enjoy having this watch if I had a smaller wrist than what I have currently. I think this model is great looking and has all the nostalgia you get with the SMP.

Seamaster Steel Chronometer Watch 2551.80.00 | OMEGA US® (there are various other models and also available in quartz)

Here are some decent listings on Chrono 24 for an idea of the price. Remember, Omega will still service these and bring them back to almost like new condition if you send them for service.

This!
The regular 300 looks too big, and this midsize could be perfect for you. My wrist is similar to yours and the midsize looked perfect when I once tried it on. And should you really consider the AT definitely 38mm. I once had a 41mm and sold it after a while because the watch had too much dial for my wrist.

I think they look fine honestly. If you like the 300 go for it.
