TLex from here loves them:

Shout out to OceanicTime... |>|>

The styling is a little trendy and over the top for me, but I can see their place on the spectrum of dive watches. Fun, tough, affordable.
Cheers mate, happy nu year! :-!

I really dig what REACTOR have done with the sports watch, their watches are incredibly well made, tough as nails and affordable. The lume on the Gamma is killer. I have to agree the styling isn't for everyone but it does grow on you.

Keep an eye out on OceanicTime for a new REACTOR diver coming soon(ish), I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of it, it's going to be an incredible watch, if you like the Neutron you'll love it, and if you're a lume freak, this will certainly take care of your needs ;)

Kinda different... I like them, though on that first one, if they are gonna put texture on the bezel and crown, the bracelet should have some too-- like the one on this Seiko (which I happen to wear the most these days):

:-!

EDIT: Looking through the collection a bit more (gotta love Google!), they do have some that are textured.... :-!

Bought a white Neutron on SS bracelet before Xmas and then a red Gamma on black rubber strap a week ago. Got them both for a song and can vouch for the C3 lume. Love them both. Looking for a coral Heavy Water model now.

I like this watches heft and at 47mm excluding crown with a 200m depth rating, screwed lugs, great lume, signed crown & deployment clasp, but find the knurled bezel difficult to turn with bare hands, never mind with gloves on. Great, inexpensive, reliable desk diving watch.

I had one years ago when they more or less first debuted, one of the original models, can't recall the name. The styling would be a bit over the top for my current tastes, but the thing was bomb-proof. I like that they are doing something different and am glad they're still around. My guess is that their target isn't necessarily the WIS crowd, but still...

I am new to WUS and just found this thread. I absolutely love my Reactor Gamma! I have the stainless steel version with the blue face (the cheapest so far that I have found) and wear it as my daily beater and as my "work" watch. As a working diver, I know that there are tons of watches out there for me to choose from and in every different price range. I love the look of some of the more expensive watches, and I am sure that they look great on. But I am not going to go down welding a dock with even a $1000 dollar watch strapped to my wrist. I have always used Citizen's and I always have a G Shock on for the timer. That was before I decided to try the Reactor Gamma. I wanted a nice watch with a bracelet and not a rubber band so I decided to try one of these out. For under $400 I received my Gamma, which felt like a brick and yet could not believe how comfortable it was. This seemed like a real workhorse of a watch. Well LSS, I have been using it in some of the toughest conditions imaginable for a watch, and this thing will not quite. Its like it wants the challenge. The only issue I have ever had was the LUM fell off of the 12 o'clock position on the Bezel. I called their customer service and was instructed to send it in. I was not expecting anything except a bill, but low and behold, in one week, I have received my watch back with new LUM, steam cleaned and in a nice little "Jewelers Bag" to boot. AT ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGE, EVEN THE RETURN SHIPPING WAS FREE. I have heard stories about their customer service being good, but WOW. This really blew me away.
I am obviously not much for the bling, and don't know about their other watches. But if you are looking for a solid feeling and performing watch for a decent price that you can abuse over and over and still have it look good for a night on the town. The Reactor Gamma is the watch that I would buy all day long.

had a Gamma Ti. it was a little too sporty looking for me once i got it and decided it wasn't really something i would wear a ton. lume was good but $500+ for a quartz timepiece with a mineral crystal? can't say i'll ever do that again. customer service was really good though.

Mine is a KEEPER! Have had it for years, actually won it at a charity auction. The missus "allowed" me to buy it. I got a great watch and the money went for a good cause. Wore it in Afghanistan in combat, not just there but actually shooting and getting shot at :) So it has a very special place in my heart. The lume is incredible, the Miyota movement is very accurate, the bracelet is incredibly tough with screwed pins and not friction pins. And to top it off it's got a signed locking crown and it's 200m water resistant. I enjoy the look of the flat, unmarked bezel.

So I guess I think it's wonderful. I may never buy another Reactor but I will never sell this one, and that's a firm "never" versus a wishy-washy never!

Screwed pins? My Reactor Photon has the normal split pins to hold the bracelet links together.

I am pretty sure and correct me if I am wrong but Branger63 is talking about the solid screwbars found on every Reactor in place of standard spring pins holding the straps.

I'm on my second Reactor of many to come, also I have bought 2 for the wife, we both love their toughness.....

I've heard that they're well built, but the style doesn't appeal to me. They don't seem to be an easy flip, so you might want to be sure it's a keeper before you buy.
