Recommendations for Dial Restoration

Hi Guys,

Could anyone recommend a good dial restoring companies ideally in the UK, preferably with some pictures of previous work they've carried out.
I did see in previous posts people have recommended C&F, I managed to contact them, but unfortunately they are no longer operating.
I got a quote from Bill & Sons, but they quoted over ÂŁ400 just to have the day numbers on the outer of the dial restored. Surely there is someone out there that can do just as good as a job and charge considerably less?
V Soni advised me that they wouldn't take on the job as all I required was the outer dial numbers to be restored, they said they only do full restorations, which I prefer not to do because it'll take away from the vintage aesthetic.

Can anyone help?

Your flag says Canada. I know of one in Ontario, but I have never used him. He took over my old refinisher's business when he retired.

I think I used Kirk Rich in Seattle which did a nice job

I'm not sure, but $400 pounds is a joke. My old refinisher did the dial, plated the hands (if good enough) and replated the indexes for less than $60.00 Canadian, but that was 10 years ago.

Current guy charges $60.00 for a dial now

Full dial service is $125, but just the outside is $400. Seems odd pricing. OK work based on images, but nothing to write home about.

I know I am raising this thread from a bottomless pit but I am also looking for a dial restorer.

Additionally I would love to know if it might be worth it for a citizen 8110
There's a lot of people offering new non original dials and don't know if having the dial completely redone might be worth it over a new dial

Kirk dial in Seattle is miserable.
International used to be variable in quality and now has new owners with whom I have no experience.
Eagle Dial in Philadelphia did good work on a pocket watch dial I sent them.
Kirk Rich in Victorville, CA does excellent work. It takes time and they are not cheap.
