Specifically the 39mm Blue Dial (ref 21010.2535).

On the surface, it seems like a very well specced Swiss Made Automatic, and at under $500, it is at a real sweet point. Do any members have experience with this model? Any feedback would be welcomed, positive or negative.

Maybe I have it wrong? This might just be the perfect dress watch for $500 and no need to compare it to a "cheaper" AT. But you cannot deny the similar looks.

You may want to verify the price. The 39mm Blue Dial (ref 21010.2535) is listed for $2,200 (USD?) on Revue Thommen's website — which is within the price range that a Swiss made watch with a SW200 movement would go for.

I have the exact watch. Very nice and very comfortable. I like the medium size. It is a great dress watch. The only negatives for me are the strap (a little mediocre in my opinion). I may swap it out at some point. Also, the strap lug holes are drilled a little further up the lugs than I would like. Not big issues, but all in all a great watch.

The brand has changed hands a few times in the past 10-20 years, currently owned by Swiss Initiative Trading Limited, a Hong Kong-based company. Guessing the watch components are made somewhere in Asia, but shipped to Switzerland to assemble the watches, hence 'Swiss made.' Not uncommon. My only balk as an aquaterra alternative is whether you actually plan to take it in the water. I won't swim with analog watches rated to 50m. Otherwise, it's a fair price for a watch driven by a 2824-2/SW200-1 movement. I wonder about the comfort/quality of the strap from those photos, but you can't tell until you wear them.

this is 41mm, and high accuracy quartz, but I've taken it in the water with no issues. they make an auto version too. Christopher Ward Sealander and Longines Conquest also come to mind in that space - no dive bezel but very capable in the water - but you'll spend more on a new Longines or CW than the watch you're looking at.

I own the Heritage model, white dial, and have had no issues with it. I think I bought it from Drop when they did watches. I also currently own one of their models with an in-house movement. I had both serviced recently; I think there's only one place in the USA that is an official RT service center. I think it's called the Swiss Clock, in Nebraska. That might be worth looking into, fwiw. The Heritage model I have is on a steel bracelet, and I think it was a bargain.

That's a very nice looking watch. Much more handsome than the AT.
I'd be delighted to wear it on any occasion.
I will go see the specs.

I've had several RT over the years. Now, down to just one.
I've always liked the brand for its cool logo, and name too, not to mention their place when it comes to aviation watches..

I am a bit disappointed that the brand gets so little love in this ghetto, when they've done so much in their history.
