Rubber strap suggestions for my new Turtle?

Good day to all,
Just picked up my very first full size Seiko Turtle and I absolutely love it! Although the OEM strap is very nice and comfortable, it's a bit too large for my 6.75" wrist. I'm hoping the more experienced Turtle owners out there can recommend a shorter rubber strap.....preferably one under $50. Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Thanks 🙏

Think I just googled them and ordered online.

I have three now, two orange and a blue which is on my Turtle currently.

I’d second Uncle Seiko. I had the waffle strap on the same watch and it looked the business!

I’d also suggest going to Amazon and searching for “22mm FKM rubber strap.” You'll find some great options, all under $30. I purchased these two for my Pelagos and think they’re on par with the factory rubber, which costs a couple hundred bucks.

I guess this will be heresy for many watch owners but Rob, you can easily break out your dremel tool, cut down your oem strap to exactly fit your wrist and then sand it precisely to be smooth. I do this with every rubber diving strap I have.

since you want a shorter strap, i'd say gop with Barton. Then take out the quick release spring bars and replace with some skinny fat spring bars to fit your turtle better. You won't be disapointed with the Barton comfort.

alternatively buy a waffle like this

and replace the quick release bars there as well.

Bonetto Cinturini 300/400 or ZuluDiver equivalent, cut-to-fit. Comfortable, great looking, smells good, deployant built in. Super neat and tidy, and well suited to a chunkier watch. Easily my favorite strap - you can't go wrong IMO.

Here is a Cinturini 400 on Alpina Extreme Diver. Supplied buckle is fine, but I swapped mine out for the OEM Alpina buckle. The Zulu strap is identical, but with a much better buckle. Higher price than the Cinturini, though.

I'm gonna offer up a dissenting opinion and suggest you avoid Barton Silicone Elite straps. They're nowhere near as durable as an FKM or real rubber strap, they collect lint (perhaps less than cheaper silicone options but still...) and the feel in hand is akin to what a child might wear on their Flik Flak. They might've been a decent inexpensive option a few years back, before you could get an ultra-high quality FKM strap for under $30 but now, not so much.

I have the US waffle and Crafter Blue for my PADI turtle. I also have a Bonetto Cinturini. Barton Elite are OK, but second tier to the others IMHO.

I found the same style on eBay that’s slightly shorter, fkm, and quick release for under 30. Most comfortable strap I own. Sorry no link they’re a pain to find but basically this Highly Anticipated FKM "WAVE" Dive Watch Strap Quick Release 6 Colours 20mm-22mm | eBay
Here it is on my 143
