This forum has been very helpful to me and my previous inquiries, thank you! I have decided not to buy a Globemaster and am now considering a mint used De Ville Tresor silver/white dial. I know it is a dress watch but it is so beautifully understated and well executed that even though I'm always casual (even for work) I still intend to where it 24/7. I cannot imagine it is easy to make such a simple design look so good, but Omega did. My only concern is if I'll miss lume on the dial in the dark. Can any owners or other offer feedback?

It's not what I would pick for a daily wear due to its lack of lume and low water resistance, but it is a beautiful watch. It's simple enough to go casual and could work as a daily if it fits your lifestyle. The polished hands and markers should still be visible in low light, though not in total dark.

I got one in YG. I use it as a special events watch in summer and as an office watch in winter when I wear a shirt with long sleeves.
I don’t think it’s 24hrs a day watch. When I come home I use AT or Speedmaster. But when I wear Tresor it brings joy.

As for the quality, it’s Omega. Very accurate and zero problems on its seventh year with me.
