Very cool list of some(edited) of the Shanghai Watch and Clock factories. Including addresses, and other detailed information.

A present day map of the old watch and clock factories in Shanghai. It is cool to see that one factory was in Pudong (the land west of the Huangpu River on the map). Pudong wasn't very developed until the late 1990's.

One thing: that's not a list of "all the Shanghai Watch and Clock factories". There were more...

 

After thinking about it, I realize I wasn't clear. It appears this is a list of (possibly all of) Shanghai Clock and Watch Industry Company factories. The others were probably not associated with the company. It appears unlikely, in the case of watches at least, that these other Shanghai factories produced their own movements.

 

This post and responses is a gold mine of very welcome information. Very respectful tip of the hat to y'all.
