Being a newbie and a bit late to the Casioak world, I am interested in seeing what other modders have done. I searched and couldn't find a similar thread created before (pls let me know otherwise) so I'll start here.

Unfortunately I have completely fallen out of love with the 2100 since building these.
I want to love them, but the displays are so tiny and so often blocked by the hands that most of the extra functionality (which I use all the time on my AE1200s) might as well not be there. That is very frustrating, which is why I'm really starting to dislike the CasiOaks.
The steel kit also makes the top one too big for my (6.7" / 17.0cm) wrist, which isn't helping either.
Their looks are the only reason why I haven't sold them yet. But I don't wear them anymore. I do have too many watches though, and these will be some of the first ones to go.

Wow, very nice . Both very tastefully done mods. Agree the full metal mod kit is a looker but wears BIG and is not very accommodating for smaller wrists, especially with the bulging metal bracelet. But it does look good on your wrist though. Thanks for sharing the mod info.
Hello no modified watch to show I'm afraid but have a Casio GA-2100-1AER. I knew the negative digital display wouldn't be great to read but hadn't bargained on just how bad it would be. Now want to change module for a positive display. Is their double sided tape between the module and back of the dial? If so can it stand a second use or do people apply new tape? Any particular type recommended?
Was tempted by the latest Metal covered models as a means of getting that most rare of G Shocks - No Bluetooth, positive display. Not sure I really want all the weight and bling though.
