SNX425KN: Water Resistant KY, what does that mean?

Hello,
I'm new to this forum, so I hope I'm posting in the right place and that this hasn't already been covered. Last year I purchased a SNX425KN from Chronograph.com (here's the link if you're interested: Chronograph.com). I really love it. It keeps great time and fits my style perfectly.

My question is, does anyone know what "water resistant ky" means? I work with kids and get my hands dirty all the time and as a result am washing my hands and watch often. Am I risking damage to it? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The two don't belong together. Water resistant without a rating normally refers to the lowest water resistance a manufacturer provides. My guess would be 3 ATM (washing hands).

KY might be a mark of the factory where Seiko produced the watch. This may be a geographical code. But I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean Kentucky.

Because the watch just says "water resistant" it probably has a WR rating of 30M.
I don't think the KY is part of the "water resistant" text. It might be some subtle Seiko code for where the watch is made.

As mentioned above, "water resistant" without any numbers mean it's most likely 30m WR.
