Solution for Tudor North Flag strap

I've had a North Flag for a while now. Love the watch but I've stopped wearing it because the stock leather strap and clasp were so uncomfortable. So much so i've been thinking of selling it.

I know the Pelagos rubber strap can be modified for this but spending another $300+ on a rubber strap irked me.

I recently picked up a bunch of SKX straps/bracelets here on the forum. One of these was a Clockwork Republic rubber strap with endlinks. I've been wearing the SKX on this for a while and enjoyed it. It's a very good strap.

I was looking at it today and realized that the bit that fits into the endlink seemed close to the space on the North Flag. I removed it from the endlinks and stuck it on

It's a damn near perfect fit. I can finally wear this thing.

So if anyone is looking for a reasonably priced but quality rubber strap option for the North Flag, try this out!

Looks great! The North Flag is an underappreciated watch IMO.

Cases with an integral end link can be challenging. I had a similar problem and came close to a good fit, but when the strap "drooped" a gap would appear near the bezel. I cut some rubber shims and stuffed them in from the wrist side. The resulting tension took it from 90% fit to 95%.

What fortuitous timing. I also just picked up a NF and was looking at alternative strap options. The bracelet is very nice but something kind of sportier would be nice, and I've heard mixed things about the OEM two-piece. I'm going to grab one of these rubbers to try out. Thanks for the suggestion!
I got a canvas strap from twostitchstraps and I absolutely love it. It elevates the watch and it is now my favorite wear.

@mozo thanks for the heads up on the rubber! I will be trying that next.

FYI - I started a NF owners thread a while back and it got no real traction. Feel free to post about this awesome watch!
