It could just be the image processing but that doesn't look like a plain white face to me. It looks more like a white sunburst dial or maybe pearl. I don't recognize the case shape either.

 

Thanks. You might be right about that. I keep going back to the Carrera... if not the Twin Time with a white face, them maybe the Calibre 5 or Calibre 6? Am I totally wrong about the shape?

I thought it was a white face because it looks more white in the video than the photo. It might look a little pearl on Colbert's wrist, but that could be that the watch has less light on it than it does in the catalog picture. Look how dark the band is on his wrist. Let me know if you think the face is not white in the video.

 

Sorry to bring this up again, but here is a better picture that shows it is not a TAG Heuer. Please help identify this watch!

Nah, Colbert likes his TAGs. Also seen wearing a Monaco.

For those that don't know him, Steven Colbert is a political satirist who manages quite well skewering both liberals and conservatives in one sentence.

 

Just watching Colbert now, it seems like he's wearing a Monaco 24 this week, but I can't tell exactly. It's gotta be some type though. Any know better than me?

 

Watching Colbert tonight and was wondering about this watch and I thought it might be a Perrelet diver except that it's got a red logo at 12 o'clock.

On 2/07/13 Colbert was wearing a Monaco style watch with a red dial. I never fail to miss his shows and check out his what he's wearing.

This might be the first time I've seen him with a red dial watch. In any case, he has excellent taste in timepieces...

 

From my anecdotal experience people who love politics, can't stand this guy. Most people who love Colbert, know nothing about politics. I fall squarely in the former camp. That said, it sort of shows how watch watchbrained I am when I would somehow respect the idiot more if he were wearing a Grand Seiko...

I too have noticed his watches recently, and how he changes things up. I've even paused the show, but have not been able to identify most of what he wears.

Glad to see he got the Late Show spot. Always thought there is gno one on late night television that offers that type of intelligent but silly humor. What's funny is how any guest that is contentious and fancies themselves as an intellectual always backs down from Colbert, because they know they cannot match his quick wit, knowledge, and intelligence.

From the 3 shows I've seen, he's switched between an Apple Watch and either Rolex Sub or DSSD

Looks like an Aquaracer but too small to be a recent model, it looks like the Tag WAF1112. They were around 38-39mm. Replaced with the bigger WAP version.

 

An interesting switch, as I always seem to go back to my Tag as an everyday beater as well. I wonder what latitude he has to switch watches when so much of his appearance is probably restricted by contract.

 

And another new one....

 

He is typically a Tag fan in general. I'm not sure what these are but they don't look Tag to me.

 

Looks like he put the rolex back on. Sub or sea-dweller i think, but I can't tell.

 

He used to only do Tag, but appears to be a Role-dogger.
