Why do they state "bicompax" on the dial, we can see that.
Well, strictly speaking, it isn't even that.. ;)

The terms bi-and tri-compax actually refer to the the number of complications, rather than the chrono sub-dials as it is commonly used today. Or at least, that's how the terms were coined initially.

-> How Watches Work: Bi-Compax Vs. Tri-Compax
-> WHAT TWEAKS MY TOURB: You've been misusing the word "bicompax"

So, according to the original definition, the Studio Underd0g Bicompax is a actually a uni-compax chronograph. :)

My wife fell hard for this via some review video or other. She loved the colors; "The Unoriginals" homage of a homage aspect sealed the deal.

She thought the drop was tomorrow. Which would have been way too late to score one... Called and asked her if she still wanted one, "YES!" OK, she's getting one...

Tough crowd! I happened to like how their watches look and don't have any issues with any of the words they put on the dial, so I ordered a Watermelon version during this drop.

Nah, man.
They are overwhelmed by the awesomeness. It happens to the best of us.

I thought about getting the Guacamole. That sure is a pretty dial. 1.5 hours left as I type this.
But I'm trying to cool it on the spending.

Congrats on your purchase! Mine says hi!

i'm surprised by the Studio Underdog negativity. Richard is awesome. They offer a swiss movement on the Gen 3 Salmon for 2k. Nothing wrong with the Chinese movement for the 675 dollar watch. The way they collaborate is just cool. Moser is one my favorite watchmakers. I love those two watches they did. I just got a Satory Billard, which I had not known about until the Sunflower watch. I'm a Studio Underdog fan. I don't own one, but I would.

One of the things I really don't get about our hobby is the immediate hate for items that we don't want. Like "if its not for me, then I don't think it should exist."
Studio Underdog are what, 3 years old and you want them to have more models than 3? It's not ok for them to keep reproducing the O1 in different colors? But it's literally all every brand of nearly every item does. That's how you make back your initial investments in R&D, advertising, etc. If you spend $100k on R&D and only sell 100 watches, it doesn't matter if it only cost you $1.00 to make the watch it still cost you $1000 per watch. So you want to sell as many as you can.

But that's not really my point.
The point is, the more options the better. If you don't like something, don't buy it. Treat it like a t-shirt.

Nice, I’ve been a fan of them for a while. Always been partial to the mint chocolate chip, just never pulled the trigger on one and the price for them second hand is stupid, $675 for a new one doesn’t seem too bad to me though.
