I like to pretend I don't care. I like to pretend I don't really buy many watches LOL
It's true to an extent....I must have bought maybe 6 watches in the last 10 years.
I've finally gotten the other Holy Trinity.

A very respectable trio 👌🏻, well done...not that we're ever really "done".😅

I’m not a fan of the trinity/grail stuff, but I’ll play along. For today my top 3 are admittedly rather non-imaginative and are combination dependent (if SMP then DJ, or if Sub then AT, etc.):
  • Omega Aqua Terra or SMP
  • Rolex (I know…waitlists): Sub or DJ
  • JLC: Polaris or Reverso

Honorable mention: Cartier and IWC

I could change my mind tomorrow (or in 15 minutes).

The "Trinity" or "Holy Trinity" dates back to a time when there was no Internet in every home, and watches were purchased from a retailer. A time when three specific brands were recognized for their greatness in fit/finish and prestige.

Now, the term has endless interpretations. There are other watches with better fit/finish/prestige, etc. And three is a great number to use as a guide, whether it is for brand/type/country of origin/price bracket, etc. So we share our personal interpretations of Trinity/Holy Trinity. Or, ignore the idea entirely.

These three. Sport watches - dressier, GADA, tool.

But I'd be very lying if I said I don't have others and am not interested in buying more. Grail does not compute.
Funny - just noticed that the three I posted echo the three the OP posted: Tudor BB, King Seiko, and something German. No rotating bezels, all sport watches.
