Thin Quartz watches

After my post looking for thin mechanical watches, I am curious to see options in the quartz world.

More precisely, quartz watches under 8mm thick. There is no need to go to the extreme 3mm of some watches, as thinner does not necessarily mean better.

So once it is under 8mm, and considering it is quartz, my next priority is the finishing.

Thanks a lot!

Go Citizen Stilleto. Pretty cheap at around 5mm.

Though I would say the 3mm is actually better.

Or the new Citizen Shine which is 7.5mm. Though not waterproof, my friend gets hers wet with water on the dial all the time with handwashing and it's still fine.

Any watch Citizen markets as a "stiletto" should be thin enough. Frederique Constant also has a slimline quartz and Tissot has their Tradition line with a 5.5mm thick quartz.

You say no need to go SUPER thin, but it is very hard NOT to be compelled somewhat by a Quartz Watch so thin that its CROWN is almost thicker than the rest of the watch:

Titan Edge - the movement is less than a single millimeter thin, and the cased watch is barely less than 2mm.

The problem with the Delirium IVs and the ones other brands sold is they are not wearable. The case flexes when put on the wrist, damaging the movement. Also, Renata stopped making the INDIVIDUALLY HAND MADE batteries for the Deliriums decades ago so new batteries are hard to come by and expensive to buy for the 1 month they last.

Skagen makes some good looking thin quartz watches. Probably frowned upon here, but I like the watches and the designs.
Haven't really seen anyone rain on the Skagen parade here yet :)

The brand Bering, also makes some fairly thin watches in a similar style.
IIRC, Bering and Skagen may be the same company, rebranded. I remember seeing something somewhere when the designs of the two brands were compared. Not fully informed enough to call that a fact though :)

From googling around, it looks like Skagen is a subsidiary of Fossil and I could only follow Bering up to their parent company of Bering Time ApS in Aabenraa, Denmark. So I'm not sure they are the same company, even though a number of their watches do look very similar. However, there are also other watch companies making similar-looking watches such as Danish Design. So it may just be like how many so-called "bauhaus" watches look similar. Or there may be some connection that isn't so easy to google.

Although I’ve seen people say that it doesn’t deserve the premium over the alread-thin Stiletto, the Citizen Eco-Drive One is about as thin as you can get for a solar-powered watch: the movement’s about one millimeter thick with case itself being a around 3mm. You have to give up a seconds hand, though.

Some of the models are a bit eccentric—Roman numerals, brown dials, two-tone plating and the like, but many of them are more subdued. The titanium (extra lightness!) Eco-Drive One ref. AR5030-59L (publicity photo below) is on my want list, and has even been reviewed here.
