I have a 4R in my SKX and I when I try to set the time and I want to go backwards the crown unscrews. I have 242 loctite can I use that to stop this back play on the crown and stem?
I have a 4R in my SKX and I when I try to set the time and I want to go backwards the crown unscrews. I have 242 loctite can I use that to stop this back play on the crown and stem?
The easiest way I find to apply is to put a drop of thread locker on a tile or plate or something like that and then just touch the tip of the stem threads to the drop. That usually only gets thread locker on the first few threads.
Use the tiniest drop on the end of a cocktail stick to apply it. You can always add a bit more but if you end up applying too much you’re in trouble.
Why is that much locktight bad? Surely he wants it to stick? I've never used it so I don't know the ins and outs of it. I'm guessing it'll be impossible to unscrew.
1st time using Loctite to a StrapCode bracelet - put too much ended having a nasty time replacing the links... o|
learned my lesson there, just a dab of it will do! :-!
