After owning lots of mechanical watches since 2000, I've started looking to add a titanium quartz piece to the collection.
Candidate # 1 is the Washi dial AQ4030-51L. It's made of Duratect A, which has a hardness of 2000-2500 Vickers (10 times the hardness of stainless steel)
Although I know that scratches are part of ownership, I loathe them -- especially on polished bezels.
So for you Chronomaster titanium owners, how well have they held up?
Candidate # 2 is the Attesa ACT CB0210-54L. It's made of "ordinary" Duratect, which has a hardness of 1000-1200 Vickers. It's $2100 less than the Chronomaster, and has a brushed world time bezel, which I suspect would be good for durability and longevity.
Thanks!
