Bit of a rant here so bear with me.

Why does Tudor persist using qr stickers which are close to impossible to get off without scratching the (brand new) watch. It took me 30 mins to rub the freaking thing off the BB steel while being very patient and using loads of soapy water - and even then I managed to leave very faint marks on the case. Nothing like the guy below though. I feel his pain and I'm sure he's not the only one who did it.

Why can't they use similar qr stickers to what's on Rolex's - those come off in no time. Is this a penalty for not spending more?

for comparison this is the finish looks like when it's not scratched

I've never dealt with stickers on a brand new Tudor, but are they any more difficult than stickers from other brands?
They are the kind of sticker that used to come with windows laptops, even if you manage to get them off they leave nasty residue which is a pain to get rid off without using chemicals or patience + hot soapy water. I took mine off, foolishly assuming they will come off as easily as the Rolex ones and then spent another 25 min getting rid of the residue trying not to scratch the finish, like the guy here did.

I feel you VHD. Took forever to clean the sticker off of my BBN, and it smeared the adhesive all over the side of the case. It was like it was held on with gorilla glue or something...
That's the one. The adhesive was nasty and I almost managed to push it into the gap between the bezel and the case. WTF is the point of that.

I didn't know that people could be irritated by that sticker. It would come off itself one day, right?

Why not let the AD take the sticker off? That's what I did. If they scratch it, then it's their problem and can grab me a fresh one. I just sat and enjoyed my espresso.
That's a good point, in hindsight I should have done that (I did wonder why he took almost all stickers except that one!) on the other hand they only had two pieces in stock the other one was display piece so if they messed it up I'd have to either get the display piece or wait for a new one.

Yeah it took me a while to remove the sticker from my Pelagos. Since the Pelagos have horizontally brushed sides, the residue is impossible to remove and leaves a "shadow" in the brushing. I left it at that since I didn't want to affect the finishing (like the OP's picture).

C'mon people, this isn't rocket surgery.
It's a freaking tiny little sticker.

If the sticker is stubborn, warm it with a hair dryer before peeling it off with your fingernail.
If there's any sticky residue left dampen a Q-tip with lighter fluid and lightly rub it away like magic.

I swear, some people could screw up making ice if they had a recipe and a YouTube tutorial.

Jody, it appears that some people - i.e. you - struggle with comprehension of written words. There should be no reason to use a hair drier, lighter fluid (dafaq?????????), traces of plutonium or indeed sweat from the balls to remove a freaking sticker. Unless you're suggesting that it would be ok for bakeries to wrap bread in foil which has to be blow torched or treated with jet fuel before it can be unwrapped. Let that sink in before hitting reply.

Resurrecting this thread to thank Tudor for fixing this and integrating the QR sticker into the easy to remove, protective plastic covers that come on the side of the case.
