This popped up on IG this morning...love the GMT, don't love the fauxtina. Would have been a nice match to my M.N. Blue FXD but probably a no go for me.

I always thought the fauxtina on the LHD looked really nice until I saw it in person. I quite like fauxtina on retro style watches but it just didn’t seem to fit on a super modern tool watch. I think the same thing is happening here. I’m glad they are expanding the Pelagos range to include GMT’s and METAS, but they have focused so heavily on the FXD range I really want them to give the non-FXD range some love (as a very happy owner of a blue FXD). There are now 6 FXD models and only 4 non-FXD models, and outside of the P39 the other non-FXD Pelagos models haven’t been touched since 2015 (or 2016 for the LHD)

Just realized the strap is not even the same as the other FXD models which for me is a main factor of why I like the FXD...hook and loop (aka Velcro) straps make it infinitely adjustable and very comfortable.

This one has a standard pin buckle.

And with the orange GMT hand and writing on the dial, one cannot even get the Velcro style strap from the black FXD to match since that one is green and red.

They have a winner with this one. It will sell out quickly.

A matter of opinion I suppose, but this feels more like a light yellow colorway than fauxtina to me.
It's got more yellow than standard "fauxtina" and a hint of green.

Whatever color this is, it hurts my eyes.

Hard pass.

Easy pass for me

I happen to like the look. The Fauxtina works well with the grey titanium case. The silly logo of the French armed forces throws me off though. Why not just give it a regular civilian strap? Not all of us want to pretend we’re in the Air Force Navy.
FIFY :D

I like it too. GMT divers are interesting to me. Apparently the logoed keeper is removable as per the below article.

Its ok. Wouldn't be something I'd buy, as I don't like GMT's. Also, I agree with @sdiver68

There are much smaller & larger brands who are listening to their customer base, and taking action to put out watches that customers are asking for. I am a huge Tudor fan, but I do not like that they don't seem to listen to their base. I really enjoy when a brand puts something out that no one asked for, however, before you start doing that, at the very least show you are listening and care what your customers want, and put out a couple of watches that we ask for. After that, then start giving us odd pieces we didn't ask for. Rinse and repeat.

A hard pass for me. The bezel looks way to busy! And not a fan of the colorway.

yes I am quoting myself, mainly because I am OK admitting I am wrong on something. I still think this is very Bremont and CW; however, seeing one in the flesh the watch looks better than in the pictures and has grown on me massively. I am considering this as my tough GADA gmt to go alongside my Batman. I love the fxd design and love the colors of it.

Don’t write it off just yet. This is a great release by Tudor and seeing it changed that for me.
