I have always worn my watches on the bone, it just seemed more comfortable but I am now realising that everyone I have seen posting pictures on any watch site wears it behind the bone. Anyone else wear their watch on the bone?

My lanky wrists havent been so kind, I have very bony wrists so my choices for watches are limited, the seiko for example is sheer pain, the bulova is a rectangle and flows whilst the lug of the carrera is raised from the caseback so it snugly fits the 'lump' of my wrist bone
I think it is safe to assume that most of wristwatch wearers have bony material underneath rather than behind their watch.
If you are talking about wearing the watch on the ulna bump, I can't imagine how one would keep the watch perched in that place. I wear my watches just tight enough that they don't rotate around the wrist. Beyond that my watches are free to find whatever placement their shape and the forces of gravity dictate.
It's on the ulna bump when my wrist is down at my side, otherwise my watch is always loose enough to allow some travel. Like the other post, I wear it just tight enough so that it doesn't rotate around my wrist, otherwise, it's loose enough to move around.
I think the bump is actually the pisiform bone of the wrist.
I am not sure how one can wear a watch *on* the bone, as it would seem to flop towards the hand and in between. Mine is just up the arm from it (elbow side, not hand side), but pushes against it so it doesn't get any closer to my hand.
I wear mine as far toward the hand as possible - past the Ulna. Basically my watches sit right on top of the Carpal bones. I like the feeling of weight in that area and the tightness of a strap actually feels comforting.
I have no choice but to wear mine behind the bone. I was blessed o| with big bones at all my joints. (So I knock them on everything... my poor elbows! :-x) I do have a bit of scarring from where my watches have rubbed against the bone. I don't notice it. I kinda like that my bone is big there, helps keep my watches excactly where they need to be. The bad thing? When people actually notice the bone is big and ask, "What happened?" as if my wrist was swollen there. I have to tell them I have big bones and nothing else.
I wear elbow-side of the pisiform. If I wear it below, on the hand-side, it restricts movement of my hand too much.
