A nice Quartz watch. The brand isn’t important in the $20 to $100 watch market.

 

not quartz, it is auto as several were. No dimensions outside of 22mm drilled lugs, no mention of movement mfg.

 

I think you’re looking for unbranded homage watches? San Martin makes a bunch

Sterile dials are plentiful and even some name brands do their own like Stowa.

 

Usually pilot watches are sterile. You should look at Laco and Stowa. Both are German brands with history.

 

What do you call a watch that does not have a...

 

Stowa, Archimede, Laco, MKII, Moser.

anOrdain and Serica mostly sterile.

The one on the left was similar to the one that I viewed on Ali, the case was different in that it had a more Panarei styled case, also had a date complication at the 3 and a seconds sub dial on the left side. But the dial, numerals style were the same as that. But all dimensions in description were missing along with movement manufacturer.

I have never shopped or bought from Alixp, I tried searching thru it, I am sure there is a better technique to it than what I was doing. Was sort of getting fire hosed with straps etc so I just kept scrolling and ran across a few possibilities

 

The San Martin brand offers watches without logos.

So you're looking for barely legal replicas

As @Medusa already mentioned, San Martin is your friend.

 

Go on Ali Express and you will find a plethora of Homage/rip-off/copy watches that have no writing on the dial at all, but you won’t have any problems identifying what watches they are homaging/ripping off/copying.

 

Yup, sterile dial and from Aliexpress is what you're looking for. I have one, it's the Steeldive capt. Willard and it's really well made and super reasonably priced too.

 

Sterile dial and 90%+ time it's used for knockoffs, re*licas, f*kes trying to get around trademark protections.

Some exceptions apply.. As others mentioned, some Mosers, some MB&F, CHR Ward, etc. Especially when there is no dial per se and\or watch is skeletonized.

 

Sterile dial homage, is the term you want. Or sterile dial copy-design, if you are into pedantry.

Sterile dial is the common word for it. But I don't think the manufacturers all use this term to describe it. I have seen no name, no logo, logo less used to describe it as well... there are probably other ways to word this that I am forgetting.
