My Tissot PR50 was serviced by Swatch Belgium and now it is 0.00spd!
I even received a bulletin de marche!

That's good. I had a Breitling with 2824-2 that was 0 for the few months I owned it. It's not unheard of. Anything better than +-10 is great.

It's a good movement, but definitely It's meant for hand winding. This Sinn 556 anniversary developed the continuous rotor movement while hand winding it. This happened just after purchase, but after five years It's running quite well,. Since that, I never hand wind it again though. But this doesn't not affect the power reserve.

Most of my autos are 7750s and the best if them are +/- 3-5 seconds/day. I'd like a Seiko N88 or Sellita automatic to compare. Some day.

My IWC Pilot 36mm runs +2 sec/day consistently no matter dial or crown up when I don’t wear it.

I have owned several watches with ETA2824 or Sellita. "All" of them run within COSC range. That is why even I have higher end watches such as Blancpain, Rolex and JLC, I still consider ETA to be one of the best movements ever and is absolutely noninferior to "in-house" movements.

Accuracy is great for practical, day-to-day usage, but largely meaningless as a performance/quality benchmark. There are terrible movements that can run 0 s.p.d. on the wrist, and terrific movements that are consistently +2 or -1.

Precision is what separates the men from the boys, and the ETA 2824 (and its thousand or so derivatives) ranges from "good" to "outstanding" depending on grade and vpm.
