I'm not sure I understand the question. I used to have meetings with customers or suppliers in a private room in a Shanghai or Shenzhen restaurant, I'd invite some of my watch guys to come into the room with cases filled with every imaginable watch fakes. All grades, A (best, with real ETA or like movements) to C (cheapest). It was quite entertaining watching the guests' delight as they try on everything, every grade of Rolex, Patek, AP, Cartier, Breguet, UN, or Panerai--any brand you want-- perfect imitations to frankenmonsters that had a known brand but was in fact nothing like any legit reference. I like GS watches, and after their 2010 global sales push, I often noted few imitations, as they are so detailed in their light-play and execution, they are harder to fake than some others. Zaratsu is pretty hard to fake if side-by-side a legit GS. But the Chinese watch factories are very clever, so YMMV.
You might think about what watches you want to look at, then decide how, who, and where to buy it.
