Which Watch Models Are The Least Faked?

I was wondering which watch brands tend to be the least faked and have a better chance of purchasing an authentic one online? I'm looking for watches around $1000-$2000 range in general. I'm guessing it's lesser known brands that counterfeiters don't bother copying? I like Tags, but they tend to have lots of near identical fakes out there. Any help is appreciated!

Minase. Roger W Smith. Keaton Myrick. Ressence. Don't see fakes of any of these brands' models often.

Less iconic = less fakes, not chosing a watch cause it “tends to be faked” is silly. Buy what calls to you and make sure what your buying is authentic. No matter what your purchasing verifying authenticity is always important.

Wouldn't the easiest way to deal with this be purchasing from an authorized dealer? It should not be hard to "not buy a fake". You don't need to select your brand from a list of " least faked watches". The quality of the threads in this forum are degrading at a rapid rate lately.

Stowa watches are good quality and I don't think it's commonly known enough to be faked. There are some models, like Flieger and Antea, that have similar models made by other watch brands that may have some homages, but some other models like Partitio are pretty uniquely stowa designs.

I'm not sure I understand the question. I used to have meetings with customers or suppliers in a private room in a Shanghai or Shenzhen restaurant, I'd invite some of my watch guys to come into the room with cases filled with every imaginable watch fakes. All grades, A (best, with real ETA or like movements) to C (cheapest). It was quite entertaining watching the guests' delight as they try on everything, every grade of Rolex, Patek, AP, Cartier, Breguet, UN, or Panerai--any brand you want-- perfect imitations to frankenmonsters that had a known brand but was in fact nothing like any legit reference. I like GS watches, and after their 2010 global sales push, I often noted few imitations, as they are so detailed in their light-play and execution, they are harder to fake than some others. Zaratsu is pretty hard to fake if side-by-side a legit GS. But the Chinese watch factories are very clever, so YMMV.

You might think about what watches you want to look at, then decide how, who, and where to buy it.

If you're not sure you understood the question, why did you answer it with a mini article?

For this price range (1-2k) I would go to Ball.. You can find these with great discounts at grey market dealers like JS. Maybe you can find a Dubey and Schaldenbrand online close or a bit above of 2k.
Maybe a panerai or a daytona for 400 bucks from "trusted" sellers in Asia😂
Thanks for the actual info. I was told my question was quote, "impossible".

I’m not sure if it falls in the price range, I’ve never heard of fake Bulovas. Lots of franken Bulovas that are vintage, but I can’t recall any “is this fake” threads(there are a ton, a decent potion of which are started by counterfeit dealers.. hence the saltiness) that are Bulova based...

Are there parts of the U.S. or world where fakes are very prevalent? I've been in to watches since the late 1960s and I've only ever seen one fake - A Rolex Daytona.
