No strong opinion, but not a fan of the graining on the steel. I think it cheapens the watch. I do like the overall design though and it's got some Aqua Terra hints to it.

It's not "graining" if you mean some kind of brushing or applied pattern. It's Damascus steel, so the pattern is inherent in the steel, which is polished. Here's a bigger pic:

Based on this WUS thread from a year ago, people are happy with the WISE purchase. You may want to follow up to see if they are still pleased with their decision, though.

Opinions on Wise Adamascus

Why did they have to spoil the dial with the tiny 1-12 numerals printed under the indices?

 

Big fan of the damascus patterning in the cases. No experience with the watches, unfortunately.

I own one of their divers and really like it. The construction and finishing are good. I'm seriously considering the Adamascus (at $700 NOT $1200) because of the Damascus steel case

It's an attractive design. Definitely has both Seiko and Omega inspiration behind it. I don't know anything about them but understand the company is based out of Thailand. Curious as to why they chose "Wise" for the brand name. If you really like it, go for it. I personally think at that price point I would be looking at a Seiko Presage or Orient Star which maybe holds better value over time, and has in-house movement.
