Zuludiver Octopod strap system. Any experiences?

I was looking at elastic nato’s for my BB58 and came across these Zuludiver Octopods. They look rather impressive. Seems to integrate a deployant clasp with interchangeable elastic natos.

Has anyone had any experience with these? I’d love some feedback before consideration as they’re easily 2x the cost of regular elastic nato.

I have one. Wrote a quick review

After a few months of ownership I still recommend it. Much nicer then a regular NATO

I have one as well.

Very comfortable, flexible, and easy to adjust as needed.

The materials are of good quality as is the clasp, so to me it warrants the extra cost.
I’d like one but had concerns if I owned just one clasp would that be a PITA to swap straps often based on how it is threaded. I wear a bracelet or nylon pretty much.

Okay, took a punt on it. Ordered a brushed clasp with the navy blue with white stripe band. To go on my BB58 Blue.

Came in at $128 AUD delivered. Expensive. As a normal band elastic nato would have been about $45.

Let's hope this experiment pays off.

I like the idea…I think..but the cost is just so far above me throwing it in the cart for a try. I can get like 30 CNS marine nationales with regular clasp that works just fine for the cost of one of the packages. I guess you could, as a cheaper option, buy the clasp and then get whatever paratrooper straps you want from cns and cut the buckles off. Doing it that way you should end up with a clasp and maybe 15 straps of your choosing. Hmmm

Just ordered this with the brushed buckle and four of the solid color ribbed straps. This should be great on either my CWC RN Diver (fixed bars, so few deployant options) or my Vertex M100.

I love them. I bought my first one about 18-months-ago and have two more. Specifically black and stainless in 20mm and black in 22mm to match my dive and field watches.

The elastic and hydrarib straps Are of good quality and are very reasonably priced. The clasps are expensive, but very well made and comfortable. I especially like these on watches with fixed spring bars like the CWC divers.
