Probably just tricky lighting and shading. I think it is what it says - a 24 hour automatic 2431 32 jewel movement. I don't own one, but there is a sturmanskie watch with that movement that looks very nice. Too expensive for me, though. Will wait for the input of someone thet actually has one of these. I personally think 24 hour watches are cool.

 

Vostok has recently come out with quite a few 24 hr. watches which I assume have this 2431 automatic/date movements.

Most likely not finished/decorated in the same way as displayed in the picture though?

 

Just seing this post--i assume the decision to buy it or not was made already. Anyway, personaly what i read on this mouvement is 2416 and 31 jewels on the rotor. Not sure the picture really goes with the des...

 

I might have purchased it if this movement was on Meranom, but I see nothing close to it.
